God blessed King Hezekiah, and he prospered in all that he did. He was successful in developing trade and friendships with other nations. He conquered all of the Philistine cities and watchtowers as far as Gaza on the coast. The Lord also blessed Hezekiah and the people of Judah with good crops and healthy herds of animals. The king was also able to make his nation strong spiritually by bringing people to Jerusalem for feasts on important holidays, including the Passover, Feast of Weeks, and Feast of Booths.
