Philip loved Jesus so much that he was willing to go anywhere to spread the gospel. It wasn’t safe in Jerusalem anymore because Saul of Tarsus was persecuting the Christians there. So Philip left, just like many of the other Christians who were fleeing to cities far and wide. He would have to go somewhere else to preach the gospel story. One place Philip went was Samaria. Everyone there loved him because of all the wonderful things he did.
