In the days of Tiberius Caesar when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, John the Baptist began preaching and baptizing at the Jordan River. “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” was his message. “The Messiah is coming! Seek His forgiveness and be baptized, every one of you, to wash away your sins!”
