Jesus knew that it wasn’t long before He must go to Jerusalem for the last time. The chief priests and temple teachers didn’t like Him. In fact, they were planning how they could capture Him and kill Him. Many times, He tried to tell the disciples that He would soon die a horrible death by crucifixion and be raised the third day, but they did not want to hear Him talking about such things.
