Mary and Joseph stayed in Bethlehem for a while after Jesus was born. Meanwhile, in a country far away, wise men from the East had been studying the Scriptures, and they were sure it was time for the Messiah to be born. One night, they noticed a mysterious light shining in the night sky. As the light faded, a star appeared. It was not like a usual star or planet, because it stayed in the same place in the sky all night.
