Nehemiah was one of the great leaders after the Jewish exiles returned to Judah. Not only did he organize the project of rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem, but he set up a new government in Judah to help organize them as a nation. It all started in the palace at Shushan in the land of Persia, where Nehemiah was working as a cupbearer to King Artaxerxes.
