Peter was one of the most unusual people in the Bible. He was tough, but he had the heart of a child. He made a living on the lake fishing, and that’s how Jesus had found him. There was great potential in this man, and Jesus recognized it. “Follow Me, and I will make you become a fisher of men,” He had said. Immediately, Peter left his nets and followed the Man from Nazareth.
