Jesus was standing trial before Pilate for the second time since dawn, and Pilate did not know what to do. He could tell that Jesus was not guilty as the chief priests of Israel had said He was, but he wanted to please them. While Pilate was sitting there trying to make up his mind, a servant came with an urgent message from his wife. “Have nothing to do with that just Man,” she said, “for I have suffered many things this morning in a dream because of Him.” This was no ordinary dream. This was a warning from God, and she knew it.
