Chapter 31- Paul Helps a Runaway Slave

When Paul was in prison in Rome, many people came to see him. He wasn’t chained to a wall like an animal in a cage. Actually, he was given room to move around, with only a guard or two as companions. Today we call that kind of arrangement “house arrest.” When Paul was under house arrest, people could come to visit him whenever they wanted. Timothy was already with him, at least for some of the time that he was in prison. Others soon arrived too.
