The outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the disciples in the upper room was an amazing event. No one had ever seen anything like it in Jerusalem, and the power of God was being demonstrated in many miraculous ways. To the temple crowds on the day of Pentecost the disciples had preached in languages that they didn’t even speak. Every day that passed now brought new signs and wonders for people to witness.
