Chapter 26 – Josiah’s Reformation

Years passed in the nation of Judah. There were good kings and bad, but King Manasseh was the worst of them all. He did not worship God in Judah, and he was a very bad example for his subjects. Instead, he worshipped many idols, including Baal and Asherah, and even set altars and shrines up to them in Solomon’s temple courtyard. Worst of all, he murdered one of his own sons by sacrificing him in the fire.
