After the riot in Ephesus, the church leaders felt that it would be safer for Paul if they got him out of town. So Paul called all of the believers together for one last meeting and encouraged them to be faithful to Jesus. Then with many tears and hugs, they sent him off to Macedonia. When he arrived in Greece, he preached the Word of God for about three months to the Jews and Gentiles alike in the local Jewish synagogue.
