Chapter 19 – God Is Banned in France

In the 16th century, the Protestant Reformation opened doors to many nations that wanted to worship God as the Bible taught. However, many governments were not interested in challenging the power of the Church of Rome. France was one such country. France had been given the opportunity to accept the truth as preached by reformers such as Lefevre, Farel, Berquin, and Calvin. Yet instead of embracing these brave pioneers of truth, kings and princes allowed the church to persecute them without mercy.
