During the next few months Jesus spent a lot of time in Judea, but soon this was causing trouble between His disciples and the disciples of John the Baptist. Some didn’t like it because Jesus’ disciples were baptizing more people in the Jordan River than John the Baptist. So Jesus decided to leave Judea and travel on up into Galilee. The Bible says that Jesus “needed to go through Samaria.”
