Chapter 13 – Chained Between Two Soldiers

The Christian church was under fire now. The small group of believers had grown to several thousand in the 13 short years since Jesus had gone back to heaven. That didn’t make the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem too happy. In fact, it was their wish to stamp out the very life of the young church before it could get started. Herod Agrippa wasn’t helping any. Hoping to make peace with the Jewish Sanhedrin in Jerusalem, he began arresting some of the Christian leaders.
