The time for the Passover feast was drawing near, and Jesus knew that it would be His last one. It was almost time for Him to die on the cross. He knew that He was ready to give His life to save the world, and yet He was worried about His disciples. They expected Him to be crowned as the Messiah and King any time now, but that had never been Jesus’ plan. Try as He might, He could not make them understand that He must suffer and die before He could be crowned as King of kings and Lord of lords.
