Chapter 12 – Peter and the Sheet

There was a centurion living in Caesarea whose name was Cornelius. He and his family were sincere in their worship of God. Although they didn’t know anything about Jesus, Cornelius gave some of his money to help the poor, and he was a man of prayer. One day about three o’clock in the afternoon, while he was praying, an angel of God came to him in a vision. “Cornelius, God hears your prayers and sees the good things you have done to help the poor,” the angel said.
