The story of Jesus’ death and resurrection was being told everywhere. People couldn’t believe that God would come to earth to live and then die for the human race. The love and goodness of God, as shown in the life of Jesus, was now the most popular story anywhere. It seemed too good to be true. However, when people heard the message, and saw the astounding miracles that the disciples were doing through the power of the Holy Spirit, they believed. The gospel was transforming lives and making people more like Jesus.
