Elijah stood on the top of Mount Horeb. This was the same mountain where Moses had tended sheep for 40 years after fleeing Egypt. It was the same mountain where God had come down and given His Ten Commandments to Israel. When night came, Elijah went into a cave to sleep. He knew he should not have run away from Queen Jezebel, and now he was feeling ashamed for it.
