Everybody loves a good story, and in Jesus’ day, it was no different. One story Jesus told was about a man who helped others, even though it put himself in great danger. The story was one of Jesus’ parables called the good Samaritan, and today we still like to tell it. Jesus told the story because of a discussion He had had with a lawyer who wanted to know more about the kingdom of heaven.
