Someday soon the gospel work will be finished. When that day comes the last sermon will have been preached, the last Bible study given, and the last person invited to come to Jesus. The third angel’s message will no longer be given, and God’s work here on earth will be complete. There will be no more time for mercy to plead with people to repent of their sins, because it will be time for the world to end.
