Ever since the very beginning of this world, it has been Satan’s goal to defeat God in the war between good and evil. From the fall of Adam and Eve in Eden, to the crucifixion of Jesus, to the last days of this world’s history, Satan has been at work trying to get you and me to doubt that God loves us. Every day Satan stalks us “like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). As the time draws near for Jesus to come again, we can be sure that he will increase those attacks.
