Near the end of his life, John received many messages from God. These messages can be found in the book of Revelation, which is the last book in the Bible. Revelation is a collection of prophecies about things such as saints, angels, dragons, and plagues. John was given a message from Jesus about seven churches that were located in Asia Minor in what is now called the country of Turkey. Each church was unique in the good things that it was doing for God and the kind of troubles it was facing.
