Chapter 9 – The Lost Sheep

Jesus’ time on earth was almost finished, and He knew there were still so many people in Israel who were lost. They did not understand that God loved them so much that He would send His only Son to die for them. Jesus was the most popular rabbi in all Israel. Most of the religious leaders in Judea and Galilee had rejected Him as the Messiah, but the Gentiles and pagans loved Him. They flocked to wherever Jesus was to see Him preach and heal, especially the tax collectors and sinners.
