The years flew by and Samuel was a great blessing to the tribes of Israel. He was a great leader and very gifted because he served as priest, judge, and prophet. Everyone loved him and respected him because they knew he was a godly man. Since the days of Moses, there had never been anyone like him in all the land of Israel.
